Privacy Policy

Overview

Pillican Time is designed with privacy in mind. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you enter stays on your device.

What data the app stores

Pillican Time stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Medication names and dosage information you enter
• Reminder times and schedules
• Intake history (whether a dose was taken, skipped, or taken late)

This data is stored in a local database on your device. It is never uploaded to any server.

Google backup

Android may automatically back up app data to your Google account via Google Drive (Android Backup Service). This is controlled by your device settings, not by the app. The backed-up data is encrypted and accessible only to you through your Google account.

Analytics and tracking

Pillican Time does not use any analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries. No data about your usage is collected.

Third-party services

The app does not communicate with any third-party services. No data is shared with any third party for any purpose.

Permissions

The app requests the following Android permissions:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – to send you medication reminders
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM – to deliver reminders at the exact scheduled time
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – to restore reminders after the device restarts
• USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT – to display reminders as full-screen notifications when the device is locked
• ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY – to deliver reminders even when Do Not Disturb is active

No network, location, contacts, or storage permissions are requested.

Data deletion

You can delete all your data at any time from within the app, or by uninstalling it. See the Delete Data page for step-by-step instructions.
